Appreciation of "To Sleep" by William Wordsworth

The poem 'To Sleep' is written by William Wordsworth, who is known as the high priest of nature . This is an extremely beautiful and delicate poem. This is a poem which the poet describes about his two days night .
Here in this poem we can see the natural beauties as a group of sheep passing one by one . We can hear the sound of rain and also the murmuring sound of bees . We cal also hear the fall of rivers, winds, and seas . We can see the water and pure sky .
Here the poet says that he can't sleep . He is worried about the bad things happened during his past. He has not slept for two days . That makes him worried. He didn't enjoy the wonderful sights because of his disturbed mind . And also he lost the two days sleep. Sleep brings fresh thoughts and health. This poem is a sonnet. Here the poet says that he is alluring sights and sounds of nature. He describes his condition without sleep and request sleep not to run away from him .
